Question/comment: Beiramar is a great guesthouse, with nice individual rooms and a kitchen for individual use. We traveled with our child and the stuff in Beiramar is really friendly, especially for kids. Thanks a lot.

amazing hostel! if i ever go to lisbon again i\'ll definitely stay there! :) you get free food and a lot of smiles and the staff is incredible, absolutely. location is very nice as well - couple of mins walk to the city centre/oldtown and there are plenty of restaurants around.. the room of hostel was very nice as well, though smallish and the bed was making a lot of noise, but our stay was perfectest! :) totally loved it!!! :D

aizcostaud from Malaysia stayed here on 23rd July 2007 very good room provided to us for our holiday in lisbon..very²²²²² friendly staff..reminder...you want to stay here?make sure you speak a little spanish or portuguese..or else you'll end up by laughing at the staff like we did becos you didnt understand a word..anyways, recommended..;obrigado

Toen wij om middernacht met 22 man aankwamen kregen we een hartelijk welkom. Ontbijt wordt verzorgd. Bedden worden iedere dag netjes opgemaakt. is het personeel altijd behulpzaam wanneer je iets nodig hebt en praten de medewerkers Engels. Het hostel ligt in het leukste deel van het centrum: Alfama. Hier kun je de meeste fado cafeetjes en restaurants vinden. Alfama heeft ook nog de meeste sfeervolle Portugese straatjes die we zijn tegengekomen. Het verkennen van de stad gaat erg gemakkelijk omdat bijna alle bussen en trams stoppen bij het nabijgelegen Praca do Commercio.

Excellent staff (Lourdes, Linda...), very clean and just above 3 minutes from Plaza del Comercio. Reception 24 hours. I´ll repeat.

If you want to enjoy the real character of Lisbon, you have to stay in Alfama! The staff is very kind and friendly, the character is excellent! There are many fado houses around the corner, a lot of great chances to eat good food and to drink excellent red wine! For sure one of the best places to stay in the magnificent city of Lisboa! Obrigado!

Pension "Beira Mar" is a wonderful guesthouse for everybody who likes a
family like atmosphere. The rooms a very nice and cosy, the breakfast is
also like at home, you have internetaccess, but the best are the ladies who
work there! I never experienced such a warm and friendly welcome, they
really try to make everything wonderful for you! I really had a wonderful
time at "Beira Mar".
Thank you again for everything! I will come back soon!!

Fue una visita excelente, el personal de maravilla, nos trataron como verdaderos huespedes de un hotel de l menos 4 estrellas, es un lugar pequeño, son pocas habitaciones pero está muy limpio. Fíjense bien, tiene dos escaleras, la que se encuentra en l parte posterior solo se suben 2 pisos, lo cual facilita el trabajo con las maletas. Esta a dos cuadras de un lugar lleno de comida típica y por las noches de cantos de Fado, tomen muy en cuenta que es típica, no está diseñado para turistas, pero se puede comer la mejor comida de Lisboa a un excelente precio. Se encuentra a sólo 2 cuadras de la plaza de comercio, una de las más grandes. El hostal tiene habitaciones con vista al mar, quizá si reservn con tiempo puedan conseguir alguna como nosotros lo hicimos. Disponen de una computdora con acceso a internet casi las 24 horas, y de una cocina, en ella no sólo encontrarán utensilios, sino comida también a su disposición de manera gratuita, que ayudará a complementar los alimentos en caso deque los hagan en el hostal. Sin duda lo recomiendo muy ampliamente. Ricardo
